What it costs

Reading your Usage page

You'll know how many credits are left, when they reset, and which bot is spending them.

Before you start

  • You know what a message credit is How to check
  • Your bot has answered at least one visitor — until then the page is empty

About 3 minutes. You’ll do four things:

  1. open the page
  2. read the meter
  3. read the day chart
  4. read the by-agent table

Usage answers one question: how much of this month's allowance have you spent, and where did it go. It covers your billing period, not the last 30 days. That is why it will not match Analytics, and why nothing is broken when the two disagree.

Read the page, top to bottom

  1. In the left sidebar, click Usage.

The page opens on your current billing period. Its dates sit in the line starting This billing period.

  2. Read the top card, Current billing period.

It reads like 200 of 500 credits used, with 300 remaining underneath.

  3. Read the reset line at the top right of that card.

It starts with Resets in and names the date your allowance goes back to full.

  4. Read the Credits used per day chart.

One bar per day. Hover over a bar for that day's credits.

  5. Read the By agent table underneath.

One row per bot, with Messages and Est. cost. The busiest bot sits at the top.

Usage and Analytics measure different things

Usage and Analytics will show you different numbers. That is by design. They count different things, over different lengths of time, and both are right.

Two pages, two windows
PageWhat it countsOver what period
UsageMessage credits against your plan allowanceThis billing period — the dates in the header
AnalyticsConversations, messages, helpfulness and model costLast 30 days

Model cost is not your bill

Model cost on Analytics and Est. cost on Usage are both in US dollars. They estimate what the work costs Adoomi to run: chat, crawling and embedding. Embedding is the step that turns your pages into something the bot can search. What you pay is your plan price in your own currency, and it does not move with these figures. Your real bill sits on Plan & billing and on your invoice.

Two lines you will only see sometimes

Two lines only turn up now and then. Reset is due means the reset date has passed and your new credits arrive on the next billing run. A second line says your balance is above this period's grant, which happens after someone applies an adjustment to your account.

If it didn’t work

Usage and Analytics do not agree

Check
Look at the window label on each page. Usage says This billing period with two dates. Analytics says Last 30 days.
Fix
Compare like with like. Read credits and allowance on Usage only, and read conversations and helpfulness on Analytics only. Neither number is wrong.
Resolved when
You can name which window each figure came from.

The Usage page is empty

Check
The page shows a line saying there is no usage yet.
Fix
Ask your bot a question from your own website, then reload Usage. Figures appear once your bot has answered a visitor.
Resolved when
The meter shows at least one credit used, and a bar appears on Credits used per day.

A note says the numbers may undercount

Check
The note reads High volume: one or more sources hit the 10,000-row window cap, so these numbers may undercount.
Fix
Trust the remaining figure — it comes from your balance, not from the row scan. Treat the chart and the table as a floor for that period. If you need exact figures, email hello@adoomi.ai with your workspace name and the dates you need.
Resolved when
You have the number you needed, from the balance or from the reply to your email.

The meter moved but I cannot see a new chat

Check
Open Chat review and look at the time of the last reply.
Fix
Credits move on answers, including answers to visitors you have not read yet. If the figure still looks wrong, check the model cost in Bot behaviour → Model & advanced. A 3-credit model moves the meter three at a time.
Resolved when
The credits used match the replies, times the credits your model costs.

What this can’t do

  • Usage shows the current billing period only — earlier periods are not listed.
  • The meter covers the whole workspace — the By agent table is where you see one bot's share.
  • Est. cost is in US dollars and is not what you pay — your price is on Plan & billing.
  • The Messages column counts replies, not credits — multiply by your model's cost to get credits.
