Get it live

Go live in about 10 minutes

When you finish, a chat bubble sits on your website and answers visitors from your own pages.

Before you start

  • You can sign in to your Adoomi dashboard
  • You know your website address, such as example.com
  • You can add one line of HTML to your website, or email someone who can How to check

About 10 minutes. You’ll do four things:

  1. connect your website
  2. set the tone and the rules
  3. match your colours
  4. paste one line and check it's live

Adoomi answers your visitors from your own website content, at any hour, in their language. Four steps get you there. Nothing appears on your website until you paste the snippet, so you can stop after any step and come back.

Connect your website

  1. In the left sidebar, click Bots.

Four numbered setup steps open, from 01 Train to 04 Install.

  2. In the first step row, click Connect knowledge.

  3. On the Web pages tab, type your website address in the box that starts with https://.

  4. Leave Mode set to Crawl site.

Single URL adds one page and nothing else.

  5. Click Crawl & index.

Adoomi starts reading your pages. A site with a lot of pages can take a few minutes.

  6. Wait until the Status column reads ready.

The list refreshes on its own, so you do not need to reload.

The six switches on step 02, and what each one changes when it is on
SwitchWhat it does when it is on
Capture leadsThe assistant asks for a name and email before it gives a long answer. You'll find the details under Leads.
Hand over to a humanWhen a visitor asks for a person, or the assistant is unsure, it offers to hand over instead of guessing.
Refuse risky adviceOne switch covers three rules at once: no medical, no legal and no financial guidance.
Auto-translateSaves your preference. The assistant often mirrors the visitor's language on its own; this switch does not change its replies yet.
Stay on-topicThe assistant answers only from your own pages, and politely declines anything else.
Show sourcesAnswers taken from a crawled page carry a link to it, up to three. Answers from uploaded files carry none.

Set the tone and the rules

  1. Open Bots again.

The second step row is now the current one.

  2. Under Tone, choose Formal, Friendly or Playful.

  3. Set the six switches the way you want them.

Adoomi pre-sets these from your industry, so many workspaces change nothing here.

  4. Click Save & continue.

The button reads Saved for a moment.

Make it look like yours

  1. Under Brand colour, click a swatch, or click Pick custom for your own hex code.

  2. Under Position, choose the corner the bubble sits in.

  3. In Bot name, type what visitors should call it.

  4. In Opening line, type the first thing a visitor sees.

The preview beside the form updates as you type.

  5. Click Save & continue.

Paste one line and check it's live

  1. In the fourth step row, click Copy.

The snippet is there to copy even while that row looks dimmed.

  2. Open the setting on your website that adds code to the end of every page.

Most website builders call this footer code or code injection.

  3. Paste the line just before the closing </body> tag.

  4. Publish or save your site.

Visitors do not get the widget until the page is published.

  5. Open your website in a new private window and look at the corner you chose.

  6. Type a question into the bubble and read the reply.

  7. Back on Bots, click Already pasted it? Verify install →.

If it didn’t work

There's no bubble on my site

Check
Open your site in a private window and view the page source. Search it for widget.js.
Fix
If widget.js is not in the source, the snippet did not reach the published page. Paste it again and publish the site.
Resolved when
The bubble appears in the corner you chose. If it still does not, work through the widget troubleshooting guide.

The bubble is there but every reply is an error

Check
In the left sidebar click Bots, then click your bot's row. General settings opens.
Fix
Check that Status reads active, and that your site's domain is in Allowed domains (comma-separated). Fix either one and click Save.
Resolved when
Reload your site and send another message. A real answer comes back.

A step still shows as the current one after I saved it

Check
This happens when you click Save & continue without changing any field.
Fix
Change one thing on the stuck step, then click Save & continue again. On step 02 flip one switch; on step 03 edit the Bot name.
Resolved when
The row collapses to a single tick line. Nothing was blocked in the meantime: the snippet sits on step 04 either way.

The crawl finished but a page is missing

Check
Open the Web pages list and read the Status column for that address.
Fix
Add the missing address on its own: set Mode to Single URL, type the address, then click Crawl & index.
Resolved when
The page appears in the Web pages list with a ready status.

I'm looking for a WordPress plugin or a Shopify app

Check
The step-04 tiles open a guide for each platform instead of a plugin or an app.
Fix
Adoomi ships none of those today. Every platform uses the same one line of HTML, and each tile opens the manual guide for that platform.
Resolved when
You have pasted the one line and your site shows the bubble.

What this can’t do

  • Adoomi answers on your website only. Its phone agent is not live yet; there is a waitlist.
  • The assistant cannot book, hold or reserve anything. It captures the enquiry and hands it to a person.
  • The chat window takes no photos or files. Photos reach the team only after WhatsApp handoff, if the customer sends them there.
  • There is no WordPress plugin, Shopify app or Google Tag Manager template. Every platform uses the same one line of HTML.
